Garfield a stoner?

He must have been, over 800+ pounds . The plants, worth about $1.5 million, were "better-quality than the typical product," said Lt. Dan Lioi of the organized crime unit at a news conference Wednesday. Check it out...

Emergency, DO NOT CALL..

Get the hint... dont call. again, thanks, fark. But to me this raises questions... If, a number is an Emergency/Disaster hotline, doesn't that mean that it is unlisted... If no one but a select few is supposed to have this number, then how are the telemarketers getting the number? Random dialing, or just dialing every number in the prefix in that area? Who knows.. but we do know, something has to happen...

Chemtrails ???

Let me start off by saying that I havn't came up with a verdict on this whole situation...

Now, with that over with... A while back (couple weeks) I was listening to Coast to Coast AM, and heard a caller, ask about chemtrails.. Well at that time I remembered
one time I was at a friend's house a couple of months ago, and there was a guy there that was talking about chemtrails, and at the time... I thought honestly that he was crazy... but now that I have done a little bit of research and it has made me think. Not only think, but look every now and again. Let me know what you guys [if there is anyone out there who reads this.] think. If you have seen these, or have photos about them, e-mail me.. concernedintx20@[no-spam]yahoo.com

look at this.......

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060606/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/us_iran

Quote: "The package includes a promise of Western technical help in developing peaceful civilian nuclear energy if Iran stops enriching uranium, a waiver of U.S. legal restrictions to allow export of some agricultural technology, access to U.S. aircraft parts or new Boeing Co. planes to upgrade Iran's aging fleet and U.S. and European backing for Iran to join the
World Trade Organization,
World Trade Organization
, diplomats and others said."

This means, the United States is now offering CIVILIAN NUCLEAR TECHNOLOGY, to the very country that we have been trying to get to stop developing nuclear technology ! What is wrong with this country, Keep in mind that the Iranians have not formally responded to this package, as they said they would need time to consider the options.. But think about it, they were deveoping nuclear technology, we asked them to stop... And now, we are offering them incentives to stop, and if they do... We are going to give them western nuclear technology? Something there isn't right. This is just my take on the situation, I think we are trying to bribe them into being peaceful with us.... I don't know, maybe im just over-thinking the whole situation.

coal-fired power plants proposed in Texas

As I pointed out in the previous post, Texas is proposing alot of coal-fired power plants in the state. And in my area, there has been 1 (info here[ls power] and here[txpower.org]) in the planning phases for the past few years. And, I wasn't opposed to the idea at all. Because, I figured the town could use the money. And, of course, it could.. But, then I went on the internet, and did some research and found that the power plant is going to be really dirty. Then, on top of that I found out that in San Antonio, Tx.,( Tables of pollution in San Antonio, vs. Riesel. ) they were building a similar plant. And, that plant was not going to be able to release nothing close to what our plant was. There is already 2 generation plants in the area, and I am inbetween both of them. But, they are natural gas units. Then around this time TXU announced they were converting them. ( information here[kwtx.com] ) (TXU Press release[kwtx.com]). Let's do the tally on proposed coal plants around Texas, right now... 10.. Come on people, wise up! 10 coal plants all pretty close to one another, what do you think this is going to do to the air we breathe, the soil we plant our food in, and the water we drink? Me personally, I have asthma, and I know me breathing this junk will probably hurt me.. If you guys were in my shoes, what would you do? Thats why I made this blog, to try to get the word out on whats going on and get your (the reader) opinion.. please leave a comment or e-mail me at concernedintx20@yahoo.com

Largest?

I found this on the net, and thought it was interesting, that China uses alot of coal, and they are polluted..and to relieve some of the pollution China has/is building the largest hydroelectric dam in the world, quote: "it will be able to generate 84.7 billion kwh of electricity annually." And quote: "will help China reduce consumption of 50 million tons of coal per year." Hmm, Texas, maybe you should see the air quality in China, then decide if all of these coal fired power plants are such a good idea, unless... of course you think gasping for air, is a fun thing...

First Post

Well, this is the first post and it should contain something important... However, right now I am too lazy to write a post of that magnitude, however I will inform you that this website ("blog") is under construction. And I will be adding news, and information on events that I find important in the world, as well as my locality. Well, everyone I think it is time to take this to a close, I bid you a goodbye, please check back often as I will update quite often. (hopefully)
